Granon

Got up real early this morning again. First half hour is walked in the dark. Lots of places where one could have missed an arrow but Laura and I did not go astray.

First bite after 2.5 hours of walking. This is a tomato y aioli tostada. Superb, but everything taste so good after walking on an empty stomach all morning.

To all our friends who cycle. They have a bike wash right next to a car wash. This Spaniard was telling me how his wife appreciates that he doesn't come home with a muddy bike. Just a bit of oil after the wipe down and he is good to go.

Quite chilly and foggy this morning as Laura catches a pic of me climbing up this hill.

Thought about Kathy Welch, our resident flower connoisseur when I saw this flower amidst the grape vines.

This is where we are staying tonight. Sleeping on thin mats on the church floors. Going to have communal meals and group meditation and social hour in their secret room. Looking forward to it. Adios!!

  1. I'm enjoying your blog! Talked with Vic this morning....he will walk into Santiago tomorrow! Then will continue on to the coast, then down into Portugal, and then walk back to Santiago. He has a flight from Santiago to Barcelona on November 6th. Watch out for bed bugs...Vic says there seems to be more of them this year. Buen Camino!
