Laura's post...
Many hands make dinner prep go quickly in the Albergue in Granon
Stewart from scotland
That was all two days ago....
Yesterday knocked me down.
We had decided to bump up the distance, so 29 kilometers were in store.
Part of each of our loads were packed away and sent ahead as my hip was still a little sore. All was well, we slept pretty decently for being on the floor! But then something in my gut went nuts, I spent lots of time dehydrating myself in the restroom. As I started walking and drinking lots of water, I felt better. But then I felt an irritation on my big toe. It got worse throughout the day, so now we are taking a rest day to see if my purple blistered toe will heal a bit.
One bright spot of the day, was finding garlic soup on the menus for lunch and dinner, just what I wanted for my gut issue. And we haven't seen it on menus at all until yesterday!
