This is such a beautiful little city, I could go crazy with a good camera!
We got in here late last night and are staying tonight also, so we had the day to explore the old town. Narrow picturesque streets going every which way are just loads of fun to wander down and the historical old cathedral was a beautiful interlude. What a treat!
We walked the Camino from the French gate to the west gate of the old walled part of town, today. We will start at the west gate tomorrow for a planned jaunt of 26 kilometers. The weather forecast is for rain all day, but that was the plan for today too and we managed to sleep in til the morning rain stopped and had nice
cool dry weather for our first day here
We started the day with churros and coffee,GOOD! Then for an early dinner we ordered a "menu del dia", choosing a primary plate and secondary plate from a list that we mostly didn't understand but it was all good! We like our culinary adventures too! We are all ready with bread and fruit for an early morning start tomorrow
